Operating as a community development NGO, the UK Branch in partnership with the Europe Mainland Branch mobilizes the expertise, networks, and resources of Old Boys across the United Kingdom and Europe to promote high-quality secondary education, institutional strengthening, and youth development. Through strategic partnerships with the GCUOBA parent body, The Fisher Educational Development Trust (FEDT), Abia State Government, the Ministry of Education, and relevant public and private institutions, the Association works to reposition Government College Umuahia as a 21st-century centre of excellence.
